Providing Affordable Housing Options
and Education to Central Minnesota Communities and Families

The Central Minnesota Housing Partnership, Inc. (CMHP) is a regional non-profit 501(c)(3) organization incorporated in May 1993. Soon after incorporation, CMHP received its 501(c)(3) designation. In February 1994, CMHP was designated as a Community Housing Development Organization (CHDO) by the Minnesota Housing Finance Agency.

The organization was created with the goals of preserving, improving and increasing the affordable housing stock in Central Minnesota. These goals have been achieved over the years through a variety of innovative programs and services offering affordable housing to low and moderate income households and we continue to strive to achieve the same goals today that were set from the start.

Our service area includes 16 counties in Central Minnesota: These counties include Aitkin, Benton, Carlton, Cass, Chisago, Crow Wing, Isanti, Kanabec, Mille Lacs, Morrison, Pine, Sherburne, Stearns, Todd, Wright and Wadena. We provide a variety of services including affordable rental housing, affordable homeownership opportunities, rental housing rehab programs, homebuyer education and counseling and planning and development.
