The Central Minnesota Housing Partnership offers a variety of homeownership opportunities to first time homebuyers. Affordable financing products such as low interest first mortgages, entry cost assistance and gap financing are available to eligible buyers to assist in purchasing newly constructed homes within specific new construction developments in Central Minnesota.

Have you been paying rent and with every rent payment feeling like you are throwing your hard earned money away? Perhaps you assume you won't qualify for a mortgage or payments may be to high. By utilizing affordable financing options through the Central MN Housing Partnership, first time homebuyers can achieve homeownership with a monthly payment they can afford.

The Central Minnesota Housing Partnership is also administering Neighborhood Stabilization Program Funding. This program provides down payment and rehabilitation assistance to eligible buyers purchasing vacant and foreclosed homes in within targeted neighborhoods.The program is a great fit for first time buyers and well as seasoned buyers who are looking for a different home. Neighborhood Stabilization Program (NSP)

The Central Minnesota Housing Partnership is administering Neighborhood Stabilization Program funds in the cities of Isanti, Zimmerman, Monticello/Otsego and Buffalo. The program will offer a variety of down payment assistance and rehabiliation fiinancing products to assist eligible buyers in purchasing vacant and foreclosed homes in designed neighborhoods located in the cities listed above. PROGRAM NOTE: HUD defintion has been expanded. Properties are now NSP eligible if any of the following conditions apply: The property is at least 60 days delinquent on its mortgage and the owner has been notified; or the owner is 90 days or more delinquent on tax payments; or under state or local law foreclosure proceedings have been completed and title has been transferred to an intermediary aggregator or servicer that is not an NSP grantee, subreceipient, developer or end user.

Interested Buyers: You may be eligible for down payment and rehabilitation assistance to purchase a foreclosed home. Below are links that provide information and instructions on filling out the NSP application, as well as a printable NSP application and link to HUD certified education agencies.

Lenders and Realtors: Make sure you have all the information necessary to assist your customers and clients by reveiwing the information below. Please note the follow NSP requirements: an NSP Addendum is required for all purchase agreements submitted when the buyer is utlizing NSP financing. A printable copy of the addendum is provided below.

Lenders, also make sure that you have submitted a Compliance Certification form to our office.
